NEBRASKA has been noted by many for providing fun and interactive group visits. Visits can be tailored to your groups liking however a typical visit will consist of:

• Interactive Admissions and Scholarships Presentation
• Campus Tour
• Lunch

NOTE*: Group visits are specifically designed for students from the 6th-12th grades. Due to liability the Office of Admissions is not able to offer campus visits to students under the 6th grade.

Campus Visit Start Time
All Visits Begin at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at the Van Brunt Visitor’s Center. We encourage your group to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled campus visit time.

*The Office of Admissions can not guarantee a Campus Visit to groups that are more than 30 minutes late*

Lunch
Lunch is offered to group visitors at the discounted rate of $3.00/person. Please plan to pay your lunch fee upon arrival at the Van Brunt Visitor’s Center.

Parking
Parking is free if visit is scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Otherwise, groups are responsible for parking arrangements.

Scheduling your Visit Day
To provide your group the ultimate campus visit, please refrain from scheduling your visit on the following days:

• Due to staff availability we are unable to offer weekend visits.
• May 1 - August 31

Other Opportunities

The Office of Admissions will be hosting special events over the summer that your students may be interested in:

• Saturday visits: June 21, August 16
• Ultimate Husker Weekend: July 13-15 and August 7-9

Chaperones
Due to liability the Office of Admissions requires a 1 to 10 chaperone to student ratio. Each chaperone should at least be 19 years of age, preferably 21 years of age.

Cancellations
In the unlikely fact that that you may need to cancel your visit, please contact our office three business days prior. Groups that order lunch will be responsible if they do not cancel their visit day three business days prior.
