You have options! Choose between Transfer Tuesdays and Thursdays, a Daily Campus Visit or a "How-To-Transfer Day"
Transfer Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9.15 a.m. or 1.15 p.m.
This visit is tailored specifically for transfer students. You can structure this day to meet your needs. Here are some choices for you as you plan your visit to Nebraska.
- Transfer Session – meet with an admissions counselor to answer any other questions that you might have about the admissions process, transfer credit, scholarships or the University.
- Campus Tour – see the campus and residential options including a peek at the University Apartments and residence halls
- College Session – meet with an advisor from your college of interest
- Financial Aid – attend a session led by one of our financial aid representatives to discuss aid and scholarship options.
- Major Connection – Interested in learning more about part-time jobs, internships or trying to decide on a major?
- Lunch – Would you like to sample the food served in Selleck Dining Facility and meet currently enrolled UNL transfer students? You can obtain $3.00 lunch coupons from us.
- Greek Life – tour a fraternity or sorority house and learn about how you can join.

"How To Transfer Days" October 9, 2007 January 4, 2008 and February 22.
"How to Transfer Days" are for prospective transfer students who are thinking about applying to Nebraska. These workshops are designed to assist you in learning about when to apply, how the transfer credit works at Nebraska and ask questions of representatives from your college/major area of interest.
When should I come to a transfer day? Plan on attending a 9 months to a year prior to when you plan to apply to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. If you plan to apply for fall 2008 or spring 2009 or beyond, participation in a workshop is encouraged. If you are planning to enroll at Nebraska for spring 2008, a Transfer Tuesday or Thursday would be encouraged to address your specific questions.
Daily Campus Visit – Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9.15 a.m. and 1.15 p.m.
We begin our general sessions Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. at the Van Brunt Visitors Center at 313 N 13th Street. Let us know what time you’d like to start your day and we can schedule your appointments for you! Your options for the day include a general information session, campus tour, financial aid and a college session.
Transfer Tuesdays and Thursdays
In depth transfer visits are offered on Tuesdays & Thursdays. These tailor-made visits will include a Transfer Session, a Campus Tour, a College Session, a Financial Aid Session, a "Major Connection" (Career Counseling) Session, the option for a Lunch in the cafeteria for $3/person and Greek Life information.
