National Hispanic Scholars

NEBRASKA is committed attracting the best and brightest from across the nation. In this effort, we have created a special scholarship for students that have received finalist status with the National Hispanic Recognition Program. NEBRASKA is one of the premier institutions in attracting National Hispanic Scholars; last year almost 300 scholars applied to NEBRASKA.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Finalists in the National Hispanic Recognition Program upon admission to NEBRASKA automatically receive Full tuition plus $2,000, renewable for up to four years. Other scholarships may be available however; you must apply by January 15, 2008 to be eligible.

Academy of National Hispanic Scholars

The University of Nebraska is one of the few institutions to have a recognized honorary society for current National Hispanic Scholars. This student organization serves an academic and social organization that focuses on the needs of Latinos in education.

If you have questions, feel free to contact the Advisor: Amber Hunter, Associate Director of Admissions.
