Intensive reading & writing experience

  • ENG 103 Intro to Literature

Foreign Language: 2 units
In one language

  • NAS 111 Omaha Language II (some students may need to complete NAS 110 to prepare for NAS 111; 111 is the course which will fulfill the UNL admission deficiency).

OR

  • NAS 121 Dakota Language II (some students may need to complete NAS 120 to prepare for NAS 121; 121 is the course which will fulfill the UNL admission deficiency).

Mathematics: 4 units
Algebra I
Algebra II
Geometry
A fourth year that builds on algebra

Natural Sciences: 3 units
At least 2 from biology, chemistry, physics & earth sciences.
At least one lab

If you are deficient in a lab, you MUST take a science course that has a lab.

  • CHM 104 Chemistry for General Education (has a lab)
  • PHY 101 Physical Science (has a lab)

Social Sciences: 3 units
One or 2 units History AND 1 or 2 units American government, geography or one other social science

  • HST 205 American History I
  • HST 206 American History II
  • ECO 213 Principles of Economics
  • SOC 140 Intro to Cultural Anthropology
