The Office of Undergraduate Studies exists for one purpose - to support
and enhance your experience at NEBRASKA. Undergraduate Studies
offers several areas of academic support for students.
The Chemistry
Resource Room
The Chemistry Resource Room is a place where you can go to study
and receive one-on-one help from teaching assistants students in
chemistry.
Engineering
Mechanics Instructional Laboratory
The Engineering Mechanics Instructional Laboratory offers tutoring
in engineering courses.
Math
Resource Center
The Math Resource Center is a great resource when you have questions
related to any pre-calculus or calculus course.
Services for
Students with Disabilities
Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) provides special assistance
to students with disabilities through individualized help and counseling.
Because adjusting to college life and its academic demands is a new
experience and there are special challenges confronting disabled
students, SSD is committed to providing students with the support
that will enable them to reach their academic goals.
Spanish
Tutoring Center
The Spanish Tutoring Center provides walk-in assistance when you
need help in Spanish courses.
Student
Support Services (SSS)
SSS offers a broad range of opportunities and services to promote
your academic success if you are eligible – have academic need, are
low-income, or are first generation (neither parent has a bachelor's
degree).
Supplemental
Instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic assistance program that
increases your performance by targeting traditionally difficult academic
courses -- those that have a high percentage of D or F grades and
withdrawals -- and provides regularly scheduled, out-of-class, peer-facilitated
sessions.
Writing
Assistance Center
The Writing Assistance Center can help you with: -Exploring ideas,
getting started, drafting, revising, and editing -Resumes and cover
letters, research papers and reports -Papers for any course (not
just for English classes)
