CHANCELLOR’S Leadership Class (CLC)
The Chancellor’s Leadership Class is designed to teach students how
to actively participate in college life, thereby directly impacting
student organizations on campus.
- $1,000 scholarship for their freshman year only
- Close interaction with Chancellor Harvey Perlman and other community leaders
- Work with freshman and upper class leaders to build a supportive network for yourself.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
ASUN (The Association of Students of the University of Nebraska) is
the governing body for UNL students and serves as the representative voice
for students. There are literally hundreds of involvement opportunities within ASUN.

The program teaches and encourages life-long Service-Learning is a process where students assess
community needs, train for the service,
volunteer, reflect, evaluate and celebrate accomplishments.

LEADERSHAPE
LeaderShape consists of six fun and fully-packed days of hands on, interactive experiences where you learn
more than you could imagine about yourself and the idea of leadership.
- Understand better who you are, and who you can be
- Develop leadership and communication strengths
- Interact with people of diverse groups and backgrounds
- Learn how to be a trusted and respected leader

STUDENT AMBASSADORS
Student Ambassadors provide suport to the staff of the Office of Admissions.
Many of the student leaders on campus began their college career in one of our Ambassador Groups.
University Ambassadors (UA) – Provide major suport in planning and holding events. Honors Ambassadors
(HA) – Specialize in recruiting high ability students. Diversity Enhancement Team (DET) – Work to enhance ethnic diversity at UNL.
